Home Again, Home Again

Back home in New Port Richey after a whirl wind 10 days of Family time with my younger sister, my brother and my dad :)

 The chocolate is on the keyboard

My chair has the remote handy,

gonna kick back and catch up

on the TV shows I taped

The chocolate  on the keyboard is from The Tea Cozy restaurant - where my sister Carol and I had  a tealiteful afternoon lunch. Scones were delicious, well everything was.

Been busy traveling and visiting with family past 12 days :)

My brother came from California to Florida - he hasn't been here since 1996 - when our dad celebrated his 75th Birthday.  He came this time to visit his 2 sisters (me and younger sister who lives in Jacksonville) who now reside in Florida too as well as my late older sisters' husband. When he and his wife came to my home, they stayed a couple of days, visited with my daughter and family. We had dinner at the neighborhood club house overlooking the golf course.

My sister in law saw a large alligator on the course, much to her camera's delight. But the photo is on her camera. I'll see if I can get a copy. The gator was pretty big ;)


 then we all drove to Jensen Beach on East coast of FL. My sister had rented us a house on the water - it was nice. It was located close to where my dad lived with his late  2nd wife (1995 to 2004), so we were familiar with the area and knew the Publix supermarket was nearby. It was an hours drive north to visit my dad and an hours drive south to go to the wedding.

from there we visited my Dad for 2 days and celebrated his 92nd birthday.
He currently resides in a Vero Beach Rehab facility. 

Had lunch at one of our families favorite Florida Deli Restaurants



Next we all attended a gorgeous Beach Wedding of our cousin's son and his beautiful bride.  The day after the wedding, I went back to Jacksonville to spend the week with my sister. My brother and sil, went on a Cruise to the Bahama's. They returned to California on Friday.

Wonderful times together as a family. 

I am blessed and cherish these days and experiences we have shared.

- strolled through the nearby Riverside Park

and another day we lunched at The French Pantry, shopped at a small business

that makes the most amazing soaps

and then we were off to tour the

HGTV Smart Home in Jacksonville

My sisters home is along side the Black Creek which feeds off

the St. Johns River, it is a serene,  quiet and relaxing area - I had

a R&R that was peaceful, and fun
